When I was a kid, my mother would scream at me to take my vitamins. I’m not talking about taking a one a day like we do now. I’m talking about taking a handful of pills. While some may think this is just plain crazy, you might think differently when you read a true story and not just some random facts on a piece of paper. This article will really open up your eyes to the healing power of vitamins.

I was a sick kid. I mean, REALLY sick. I suffered from chronic ear infections every winter, got sick at the drop of a hat and had no energy at all. My eyes were going. At 10 I needed glasses. My mother didn’t think I’d live to see my thirteenth birthday. So she packed me up and took me to see a doctor in New York. His name was Dr. Max Lewitter. I will never forget that man’s face 39 years later. He examined me and told my mother that I needed to be put on a very strict diet and be given mega doses of vitamins. I didn’t mind the diet so much, but all those pills.

So let’s get to all those pills. Well, there were no multi vitamins in the batch because they were all synthetic and he wanted only natural. So I took one vitamin A per day, one vitamin B, 5000 units of vitamin C, which most doctors would tell you is pure insanity, one vitamin D, one vitamin E, two bone meal, one kelp, one pantothenic acid, and one tablespoon of lethicin.

Up until this time, out of a 181 day school year, I was missing about 10 days from each marking period, or about 40 days a year. I was just barely passing my classes. It’s a miracle that I ever made it out of grammar school. By the time I made it into high school, just a few years later, I went through four years of high school and had 3 days out in those four years. I finished 46th out of a class of 575 students.

Some would say, as far as the good grades, I was just growing up. Maybe that had something to do with it. But the illnesses that vanished from my body, as well as my improved eyesight, had nothing to do with growing up. That was a result of eating a well balanced diet and getting plenty of vitamins. Where I used to live in doctors offices, I was now only going twice a year for checkups. My regular doctor couldn’t believe the change in me. Of course not. When I wouldn’t eat because I was sick and my mother asked him what she should do, his answer was give him chocolate cake if that’s what he wants. I’d be dead by now if she listened to him.

I am not at all saying that vitamins are a miracle cure. But today, at age 49, I still hardly ever get sick. When I do get a cold, it’s almost a shock. I don’t take nearly as many pills as I used to take, but I take a good natural multi vitamin and still take plenty of vitamin C each day.

My body isn’t complaining, and either are the people who love me who are glad that I didn’t eat that chocolate cake.

Whilst the history of Real Madrid is one of European championships and domestic domination that of their cross city neighbours Atletico Madrid is one of “nearly men” and barren trophy cabinets. Such has become the commonality of spectacular capitulations from winning positions that the club and the fans are known as, “los suffrodores,” the sufferers!

The matchday experience!

Take the party atmosphere of the Rio carnival and the passion of a political rally and you still have not arrived at the intensity generated on Atletico Madrid matchdays. From the devout Atletico supporters, known as “Ultras” and who populate the southern end of the stadium, there comes a three hour assault on the senses. The only brief respite from the barrage of noise being when the teams change ends at half time.

Football matches in “la liga”, The league, typically start at 1700 on a Sunday afternoon (this is frequently changed to meet TV demands) however the matchday experience starts far earlier at around 1300. In the numerous small bars around the ground and even up to 3km’s away the Atletico faithful are preparing to enjoy one of Spains other great traditions: Lunch!

As in the rest of Spain, Lunch is a two hour marathon of five or six different Spanish dishes accompanied by and washed down with copious amounts of beer or wine during which players of a bygone era are remembered, team selection criticised and games replayed in the minds of those present. What follows the referees short blast on the whistle to start the game is 90 minutes of continuous vocal encouragement of those who were the red and white stripes. Well almost continuous as this may be interuppted for the singing of a couple of choice songs questioning the origin or the virtues of the referee, the opposition or the other team from up the road (Real Madrid).

5. You need to create a proven, optimized sales process and automate as much as possible.

You need a powerful sales letter that converts the maximum number of prospect to paying customers. If you don’t want to lose money, it’s vitally important that you test each step of your sales process to reach the best results. You need to test the effectiveness of your sales letter, your ads, your price and your back-end strategy. Once you know which ones are winners you can easily optimize your results and pyramid your profits.

6. You should start a reseller program and let other business owners recommend your product to their lists.

Many have a great relationship with a lot of people, and you can tap into that relationship. All you have to do is contact these business owners personally and offer to make a joint venture deal where you split the profits. Many will be thrilled to accept your offer, and it will bring you a ton of new customers in a very short time.

7. You want to build your valuable lifetime customer database fast and free.

You can do this in several ways, but there are a few easy methods that you should combine: free publicity, viral marketing, joint venture deals and advertising on a large scale. The key here is that as long as you break even or make a profit on the first sale, you can basically build your database of loyal customers as large as you want instantly and for free. From there on it’s all profits.

8. From here on you simply continue to build your relationship with your customer list by helping them solve their problems and achieve their goals.

Do this by recommending information, products and services that will help your customers. All you have to do is create joint ventures and reseller agreements with other business owners to make money in the process – you split the profits. This is your back-end strategy, and this is where you make the REAL money.

9. Always, always over-deliver on your promises. Take extremely good care of your clients and subscribers.

Treat them like you would treat your best friend. Again, your main goal here is not just to “make money” but to actually HELP your clients. Never recommend a product to them that you wouldn’t recommend to your best friend. Keep their interests in mind always and satisfy their needs and wants. Do this and you must succeed.

10. Continue with this process from here on and you’ll make a fortune.

Keep selling your front-end product to add new lifetime customers to your list for free. Keep helping them reach their ultimate goals by recommending additional good, related products. You’ll make a very nice living and enjoy life to the fullest, all while doing what you love. And you’ll make a lot of new friends in the process.

For the average individual who knows little about cars or mechanics, buying a used car can be a worrying experience. Buying a car is often one of the biggest purchases we make in our lives and the nagging doubt of whether or not you are about to buy a lemon always makes buying a used car difficult. So how do you go about choosing a car that is unlikely to be a lemon?

If you have found a ?bargain? or a car you like the look of go check it out. At this stage it is always useful to take someone who knows something about cars with you if you can. If you haven’t got anyone whose opinion you can trust then you are going to have to use your own instincts.

Check for obvious accident damage. Accident damaged cars can be spotted by little tell tail signs. Look for signs of overspray to panels, bumpers and fittings, look for areas of paintwork that are inconsistent with the general condition of the car (these may indicate filled dents, filled rotten patches) and check that all the tyres are wearing evenly (uneven wear may indicate the car isn’t running straight and true as a result of a crash or poorly executed accident repair).

If you are happy there are no obvious clues to suggest accident damage check the general condition of the car for wear. Is the amount of wear consistent with the mileage of the car? Worn foot mats, shiny steering wheels and worn/damaged driver seats are not what you would expect to find on a low mileage car.

Does the car have missing interior fittings or scratched paint work? Would you expect a car you owned from new for a number of years to have accrued a similar amount of damage? Make a mental note of the amount of wear for bargaining purposes should you decide to buy the car.

Check the vehicle for rot in the doorways and wheel arches. A little rot can become a serious costly problem after as little as one year. A lot of rot, especially to structural areas of the car where panels and sections of the car come together could indicate the car is not safe to drive.

Once you have established the car looks to be cosmetically genuine and that the condition is as you would expect for the cars age start to look at the mechanics of the car. Check the oil on the dipstick. Are there bubbles in the oil? If there are bubbles this is a sure sign of water in the oil and likely to result in expensive repair. Check the water filler. Is there a white residue on the cap or visible in the filler area. This is an expensive sign of oil in the water. Check the oil filter (easy to spot, generally looks like a brightly painted tin can sticking out of the side of the engine) does it look to be recently fitted or like it has been on for some time. This is a standard part that is replaced at service and can indicate how the owner has been treating the car.

Start the motor up. Does the engine rattle or have a pronounced ticking noise or does it sound healthy? Is the exhaust loud or well silenced you don’t need to be paying for a new exhaust system. Once the engine has warmed go look at the exhaust. Are there large quantities of smoke, black or white being omitted? Both can indicate expensive faults. At this stage check to make sure headlamps, indicator and brake lights work.

If all seems fine the next step is a test drive. Check the steering. Is it light or vague, neither is a good sign. Does the wheel have a large amount of play in it? Steering is important for clear safety reasons. The steering should be responsive and direct. Neither to heavy nor light.

Check the brakes. Do they inspire confidence? They should pull the car firmly to a stop in a straight line without fading or feeling as if they are about to run out. Find a car park or space where you can turn the car on full lock in both directions. Do the front wheels grind or shriek? This could indicate expensive wheel bearing problems.

If you do not come across these problems then it is fair to say you have a solid used car that is unlikely to be a lemon. Now if you can recall all the little details you spotted you can use these points to bargain a good price and buy the used car with the confidence that you have avoided a lemon.
